While attendance to all practices and events is mandatory, there may be times when a student is unable to attend.  In those situations, the only way for the absence to be "excused" is for a parent or guardian to fill out an absence form in advance of the absence.

Section leaders may fill this out the day of rehearsal or performance. However, if a section leader fills out the form it is an unexcused absence. 

Absences can lead to loss of participation in events and a loss of lettering points. Absences on a performance day count toward a double absence.
